Potential of Perennial Sorghum and Rice in Sub-Sahara, South and South-east Asia (2022)

Auricht Projects was the Spatial Analysis lead for Multi-disciplinary team for Gates Foundation lead by John Dixon. Identified 5 target framing systems to estimate potential for Perennial Sorghum adoption and impact in Sub-Sahara, South Asia, and 13 target farming systems to assess Perennial Rice in Sub-Sahara, South and South-east Asia. Demonstrate that these farming systems will evolve substantially over the decades from 2022 to 2050 in response to climate change, market development and a spectrum of new technological and institutional innovations.
