Australian Wetland Inventory (2021 – 2022)

Contracted by the Australian Government to provide services to scope the development of an Australian Wetland Inventory.

Part 1 – Review of wetland mapping and inventory opportunities to develop and Australian Wetland Inventory – AWI (2021)

Part 2 – Conceptual design and technical capacity support to build an Australian Wetlands Inventory

Also involved the development of a national Aust Wetland Inventory Share-Point for the multi-jurisditional Wetlands and Aquatic Ecosystem Sub Committee (WAESC), a dynamic web mapping dashboard interface on the Status of Aquatic Ecosystem Mapping and Attribution that can be updated by jurisdictions, and compilation of a National Peat knowledge-base in support of a use-case for the AWI.
